Zawadi Africana is owned and run by Geraldine Harney Evans. 

The Gift range online and Instore are curated from all over the world from Kenya, South Africa, Argentina, and Europe.  The ranges change and include hand painted ceramics, printed textiles, children's wooden toys, Leather and beaded flip flops and sandals; Greetings cards and gift wrap, Scented Candles and Diffusers, Cinnabar full product range, Photograph Frames etc.

All the products in the HANDMADE collection are made of genuine Kenyan leather along with traditional Kenyan and African sourced materials. The artisan bags and belts created by Zawadi Africana help to sustain handicrafts and livelihoods in Kenya. The workshop is a small and very friendly place in the suburbs of Nairobi. This is where the ideas occur and are made into a reality. The local artisans working with Geraldine have helped her continue to develop her creativity and her support has enabled them to learn new trades and skills as well as maintaining a long term career. The company does not only support the people who work in the leather business but she also visits local markets where she sources other handicrafts which she supplies her own shop in Karen, Nairobi and also other shops around Kenya.
